Nordstrom Anniversary Sale—Whoop, Whoop.

Well, we are here - my entry day, Friday, August 7, and I cannot wait! The online preview of the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is now live. It looks like the very best sale I have seen in years. The products in every category go above and beyond my expectations. This is like my Super Bowl Sunday event. Way to go Nordies--you know we need this now more than ever and we all thank you for getting out there in this crazy COVID-19 battle and bringing us Anniversary Sale Junkies some pure joy!

As I said, the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale starts August 7 for Nordstrom credit card holders. This exclusivity only lasts a week, but this is going to be a BIG boost for our beloved Superhero Retailer. When arriving we can expect to sanitize, put on our masks and move swiftly through every merchandise category. Best advice I can share is to make an appointment with a stylist so that you do not get worn down and tired. With so much to look at -- it can become overwhelming. The stylist will provide a free 30-minute overview and consult. I always think it helps me get out of my comfort zone and provide unique styles I may not have chosen without a Nordie’s PRO.

If you can take a break at the Nordstrom Café, do so. They have the best Salmon Niçoise Salad; pair that with a glass of Champagne and the edge of stressful shopping will be remedied.

This year you can go online and put your wish list together so that when you get on-site, you address that list immediately. This is also my favorite place to get a jump on Christmas shopping. You will find Barefoot Dreams has a line of comfy throws for under $100 that will make a perfect gift. If you really want to go for it, add the Barefoot Dreams PJ’s. They are comfy and delicious. All the favorite ladies on your list will love this gift.

If you want to look at the UGG slippers for men, they are on sale. I gave them to all the special men on my list last year and they are still making comments on how wonderful they are! Put a pair at the door so you can easily make those runs to the mailbox or garbage can! They are a year around delight.
